Justin will be serving his National Service starting from tomorrow. All the best in Tekong bro! As a result, Misfit Ramones will be extending their hiatus for a while more from performing until Justin completes his basic training. For now, Mizar and I plans to play OASIS for jamming sessions and looking around for hot female bassists or sessionists. Skill and profiency is secondary, can be developed. Looks more important. HAHA.
Also, all the best to everyone who will be starting or already started their respective internships and attachments. Things will be different now, but it's ok. I guess that's life, like it or not, things will change for the better or worse. And sorry to everyone I haven't seen for awhile. It's hard enough as it is with work taking up 5 or 6 days a week. And then there's the occasional jamming sessions with the band, and family time is really important to me as well. If I could cut myself up and separate myself to different groups of people, I would. But even with the advanced technology we have now, that is still not possible to do.
But on the plus side, I'm enjoying my work, and I'm already going to the 11th week of the 16-week long internship. Even had a job offer as a designer, only for Alex to reconsider since I haven't serve NS. Fasting been great. I even manage to meet up with Nadia last week which totally made my week. Only God knows how hard it is for us to contact, let alone meet. My results sucks dick big time though. 2 D's and 1 D+ but how blessed am I in this fasting month to be awarded with the Lee Foundation Study Award again. I promised my mom I will give half of the $1000 from the award to her if I get it.
It's been a good month, this Ramadhan. Embrace it guys. :)
